Who do you use to ship my order to me?

I use Postnet, Aramex Store to Door or Pudo Locker to Locker. Own collection can also be arranged from Jukskei Park in Randburg as long as payment for the order has reflected in the nominated bank account or cash on collection has been arranged beforehand.

Why is the shipping charge set at a flat rate of R60-00?

Shipping is set at Pudo for the default, as this is the most popular shipping choice and also the easiest to manage when combining items. However I am happy to use any of the three shipping options, we will just adjust the shipping amount at payment time. PLEASE Note: Pudo have just increased their prices. Boxes that will fit in to a medium sized locker or smaller will still qualify, however if a larger locker is required then the increased fee will need to be paid.

How does Pudo work?

Pudo Locker to Locker is available for items which fit into the Pudo locker according to the following list:

XS: 60cmx17cmx8cm (Max 2kg) - R50-00

S: 60cmx41cmx8cm (Max 5kg) - R60-00

M: 60cmx41cmx19cm (Max 10kg) - R60-00

L: 60cmx41cmx41cm (Max 15kg) - R80-00

XL: 60cmx41cmx69cm (Max 20kg) - R100-00

Why is the Pudo charge set at R60, even for small items?

I have set the Pudo charge at R60 for all items on the website for simplicity as the website is set up only to accept one shipment charge unfortunately. If there is anything that, when packed, will qualify for the XS, L or XL options, we can adjust the Pudo price prior to payment being made. However I do not recommend cutting back on protective packing in order to fit a parcel in to a smaller sized locker as this may result in the item arriving damaged.

How does the Postnet R109-00 charge work?

The R109-00 charge is available for items with a maximum weight of 5kgs or which, volumetrically, fit into a Stock 4 box or smaller. Postnet will always choose the larger of the two options, so even if a parcel weighs only 2kgs but is in a box larger than Stock 4 it will not qualify for this rate. It is still possible to send larger parcels through Postnet, they will just cost slightly more dependent on weight and volume. If this is the case then I will obtain a quote: I charge actual shipping.

How does Aramex work?

Aramex Store to Door is available for items which fit into the provided sleeve and costs R100-00. There is no weight restriction.

How do you calculate shipping fees?

I charge actual shipping, which may mean that a quotation from the nominated provider (such as when sending larger boxes with Postnet) needs to be obtained once the box has been packed, and before payment can be made.

How are items packed for shipping?

I use boxes, bubblewrap and newspaper when I pack up your order. 

Is combined shipping available?

Yes, I will combine items with pleasure! I do charge actual shipping

Postnet: Depending on the items purchased this may mean that the resultant box no longer qualifies for the R109-00 Postnet fee due to size or weight, please just keep this in mind. 

Pudo: I can combine items up until the maximum weight of 20kgs or packed box size of 60cmx41cmx69cm.

Aramex: Any amount of items can be combined as long as they still fit into the flyer bag and I can close it, however please keep in mind that space should be saved for the packing materials that will protect your purchases en route.

Can items be stored in order to combine shipping?

Yes, as long as they have been paid for, orders can be kept for up to a month for this purpose.
