This journey actually started with the unpacking of three boxes. These boxes had been carefully stored for ten years and were supposed to hold my childhood My Little Pony collection. Except they didn’t. No one knows what really happened to those lost ponies, but that begun my quest. In my search to replace those ponies I would often come across vintage toys, but at that stage I hardly ever bought them. Pity that...

 Then, our son was chosen to play soccer in London in 2020 for his club and suddenly we needed to fund raise. Of course it did not happen after all, sadly.

 The name “Toy Hunter” is a nod to what the family calls my ‘hunting expeditions’ when I go out searching for toys. And just as in hunting it can be good, bad, surprising or even amazing depending on the day.

I source, clean, photograph, load, pack and post everything personally. As I cannot morally sell anything that is dirty it may sometimes take a while from when items arrive until they are made available for sale. This has always been my policy, and the only time that I do not clean an item is when it will actually damage it to do so: electronics, books etc.
